Comfort Kits are delivered to cancer patients during chemotherapy infusion, giving our clinical staff an opportunity to share information about free counseling and other programs and resources available at Cancer Support Community.

Each month CSC visits infusion centers in Monroe, Morgan, and Lawrence counties to deliver comfort kits to patients. We typically see 15-20 patients each month—in 2023 alone, we reached 121 patients through the end of August. The items on our list have been requested by cancer patients and oncology social workers, so we can be sure to deliver supplies that are needed and make an impact on the patients we visit.
